Industrial Elektronik: Live Chinabot + DJs monoblock b / oldboy

Chinabot heisst die umkämpfte Region im Grenzgebiet von Thailand, Laos and Kambodscha; Chinabot heisst aber auch das Elektronik-Trio aus eben diesen Ländern. Zwei davon - Lafidki (Kambodscha) und Pisitakun (Thailand) - präsentieren in der Wunderkammer ihre experimentelle elektronische Tanzmusik, die industriellen Techno mit lokalen Einflüssen aus ihren Ländern und harten Flächen und Sequenzen mischt. Lafidki eröffnet den Abend mit arrhythmischen Turbulenzen massig geschichteter Synthesizer-Loops, während in Pisitakuns Set schwere Bässe und lethargische Trompeten sich mit pulsierenden Synths und hämmernden Beats zu noisig-industriellem und experimentellen Techno verbinden.

Das Zürcher Urgestein monoblock b entführt uns mit seinem dj Set von düsterem Ambient zu New-Wave-Techno und glitchie Breakbeat, Future Noise und PunxXx auf eine einzigartige Reise durch Raum und Zeit- Zum Abschluss geleitet Oldboy uns mit seinem Set zurück zu den Anfängen von EBM, Wave und Industrial, mit Bands wie Esplendor, DAF, Front 242, Young Gods oder den Einstürtzenden Neubauten.
